National Network of Fiscal Sponsors (NNFS) is a professional network of organizations and individuals in the fiscal sponsorship field who strive to be relevant, visible, and collaborative. NNFS convenes events, shares in depth knowledge, advocates for the field, and develops best- and next-practices that fine tune impactful interventions, promote positive system change, and advance our work for the public benefit.

Fiscal sponsorship has evolved as an effective and efficient method to provide human-centered, legal, risk mitigated ways to enable often under-resourced communities to start new nonprofits, seed social movements, and deliver community services.

Fiscal sponsorship generally entails a nonprofit organization (the “fiscal sponsor”) agreeing to provide administrative services and legal and financial accountability for mission aligned efforts.

NNFS members, who represent many communities and priorities, collaborate to develop the fiscal sponsorship field’s capacity. Together, members can influence regulation and funding practices; provide fiscal sponsor professionals with in-depth knowledge and expertise; and help projects connect with the right fiscal sponsors.

NNFS is fiscally sponsored by Third Sector New England, Inc. (TSNE).
