As the CEO at Fractured Atlas, Theresa Hubbard dreams of a world where artists can enjoy economic freedom through robust fiscal sponsorships, allowing boundless creativity that inspires current and future generations. Since joining the Fractured Atlas team in February 2011, Theresa has led the organization in supporting more than 15,000 artists and arts organizations in successfully raising more than $250M for their creative projects. After becoming CEO in 2021, Theresa has spearheaded a new approach to the organization’s staffing model and continued their tradition for advancing human-centered practices through developing a culture of care in the organization. An expert in fiscal sponsorship, Theresa is a sought-after presenter at conferences and festivals around the United States. She serves on the steering committee of the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors, through which she works to build community and educational opportunities within the sector.
In 2016, she earned a Certificate in Arts and Culture Strategy through a partnership between National Arts Strategies and the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Syracuse University and stays active in the New York choral community by serving on the board of the New York Choral Consortium and by singing with The Oratorio Society of New York. Outside of work, if Theresa isn’t singing, she can usually be found experimenting with new chocolate chip cookie recipes, watching horror movies, and spending time with her senior dog, Sammy.

Shawn René Graham [she/her] is a freelance writer and dramaturg from San Jose, California who has worked with countless writers such as Walter Mosely, Nilo Cruz, Lynn Nottage and Cori Thomas. She is currently the resident dramaturg of The American Slavery Project’s Unheard Voices, the Literary Director for the Classical Theatre of Harlem’s Future Classics Series and Playwright’s Playground, and founder of All Creative Writes, an artistic assistance service designed to provide individual artists and performing arts organizations with administrative, fundraising and writing support. Ms. Graham holds degrees from the California State University, Los Angeles, and the American Repertory Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. She joined The Field in 2012 and lives in Bronx, NY with her dog, Mercy.

John Bell, originally of Rockford, Illinois, received his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College in 2008 and his MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2010. At Springboard for the Arts, John serves as the Controller, overseeing accounting for the organization and directing Incubator, Springboard's fiscal sponsorship program. He shows his sculptures and paintings in park districts, natural history museums, and the bed of his pick-up truck, primarily in the Midwest.

Julia Barbosa Landois is the Grant Writer and Fiscal Sponsorship Manager for Fresh Arts, an arts service nonprofit in Houston, TX. Her nuanced perspective is born from over 15 years in the arts as an administrator, educator, fundraiser, and visual and performing artist. She currently serves 25-30 fiscally sponsored projects of all art disciplines annually in the Houston region.
